The European Academy of Performing Arts has appeared after a rich institutional experience in the domain of Performance Arts and of Intercultural Communication, through the activity and the certain results of the Faculty of Arts and Science, the Art of Performance specialization and through the programme of Master in Choreographic Contemporary Performance. During the time, the experience has also been diversified and amplified by correlating the scientific and educational entities such as The Comunic@rt Research Centre and the magazines ComunIQue and ChoresponDans.

In this context, it represents one first, natural and auspicious success the setting up of an academy which can transform the artistic practices experiences into credible and productive theories, but it can also develop the theoretical competence towards the direction where the theory has value as far as it can enrich and diversifies the practice.
